Dear Left – This has been coming for a long time, and it’s just something I think we need to face. It isn’t working out between us. It’s time we started seeing other people.
I tried to avoid this moment, but I can’t help it. If we continue to stay silent on the topic it will just drive us further away from each other, and that wouldn’t do either of us any good.
Don’t be bitter, it’s me, not you. It’s just that we’ve grown so far apart that I see no way we’ll ever regain the trust we once had.
I’ll always treasure the time we had together, but let’s face it, time to move on.
Love ~ Texas
PS: I’ll be back for my stuff. Touch it and I’ll rip your damned lips off.

When I only half jokingly told my kids that Texas was going to succeed from the Union because the Obamanation won, they wanted to know if they were going to need passports to visit Grandma and Grandpa. Guess I’ll have to get to work on that. That, and trying to figure out how to unload an upside down house and get back to the “promise land” as fast as I can.

Good luck on that move. At least for the moment there’s no passport needed, tho if we had been watching that northern* border instead of paying so much attention to Mexico we coulda saved a lotta trouble over the years.
* not the one with Canada… The Red River

I like the way your think Rob. One question though, will Californiastan and Chicagostonia get to stop financing most of new Texas or will foreign aid be required?

We’ll insist on foreign aid. Hell, you give it to everyone else.
Y’all be nice or we’ll lose a war to you and make you pay reparations.
